Your donation makes a difference!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners we have been able to help the Santa Monica Animal Shelter in many ways. Animals often arrive at the Shelter in need of necessary and costly lifesaving veterinary care and we regularly cover the cost of this care. In June of 2024 we helped Strawberry Flowers, a dog who arrived at the shelter in need of a full hip replacement, the cost for her surgery was over $12,000. Also Rio, a dog that arrived at the shelter in July of 2025 after being hit by a car, the cost of his surgery and care was over $15,000. It is thanks to generous donations that we are able to step in and cover the cost of these necessary surgeries and help Strawberry Flowers, Rio and many other sweet animals.

We have helped the Shelter with many facility improvements and upgrades such as purchasing 25 new dog beds and a new washbasin. We contributed $25,000 to create a proper turfed space for the dogs at the Shelter, learn more about the space here.

We also step in as needed to help the animals by purchasing supplies such as medicine, food, formula, toys, beds and so much more.
